Security forces continue clearing operation in Norar area Bannu

BANNU: The security forces successfully eliminated two Fitna Al-Khawarij network during an intelligence-based operation in the Norar area of Bannu district. The operation is ongoing as troops continue combing the area to neutralize any remaining threats.

The operation was launched based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants involved in recent attacks on law enforcement personnel and civilians.

In this sense, the identities of the deceased terrorists are being identified, but preliminary information suggests they were active members of the outlawed Fitna Al-Khawarij group, known for its subversive agenda and brutal tactics aimed at destabilizing the region.

The term Fitna Al-Khawarij is officially declared by the government for those who are terrorising the environment in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. The term is rooted in early Islamic history and is often used to draw a parallel with groups who rebelled against the state and sowed chaos in the name of religion.
