QUETTA: Quetta Police has launched crackdown against the unregistered motorcycles and those without number plates in the provincial capital of Balochistan.
According to details, on the directives of SSP Traffic Police Quetta, Dr. Sami Malik, police started crackdown impounded 170 motorcycles so far in a crackdown in the city for violating the rules in this regard.
While talking to local media, SSP Traffic Police Quetta, Dr. Sami Malik has said that it is mandatory for motorcycles to have both front and rear number plates. Strict legal action will be taken against those violating this rule.
SSP further said that motorcycle registration and carrying complete documents are necessary. The traffic police are also launching a special campaign to make the city’s traffic system safer and more efficient.

He appealed to parents not to allow their underage children to ride motorcycles to help prevent road accidents.
