Gas supply restored in Mach after flood damage

QUETTA: The gas supply has been successfully restored in Mach area after a gas pipeline was washed away due to heavy rains and flooding.

According to details, heavy rainfall in the Mach area caused a 60-meter section of the 4-inch diameter main MS gas pipeline to wash away at a central point in the Bolan River on July 20, severely affecting the region’s gas supply. The Sui Southern Gas Company’s technical teams had to wait for water levels to recede before beginning repair work.
