Major martyred, 3 terrorists killed in Awaran operation: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army said on Wednesday said that it killed three terrorists associated with Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan in Awaran district of Balochistan.

The Pak-Army media affairs wing, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement that acting on tip-off, security forces carried out an Intelligence-Based Operation in the Awaran district of Balochistan.

During the ensuing exchange of fire, security forces successfully targeted a hideout of the Indian-backed proxy group Fitna al-Hindustan, eliminating three terrorists and foiling their subversive designs.

During the fierce exchange of fire, Major Syed Rabnawaz Tariq, a resident of Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir, embraced martyrdom while valiantly leading his troops from the front, the statement read.

“The officer fought gallantly and paid the ultimate sacrifice for the motherland,” it added.

The successful strike destroyed the terrorists’ stronghold, dealing a serious blow to Indian-sponsored terrorism in the region. A clearance and sanitization operation is currently underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining threats in the area.

“The armed forces remain resolute in their mission to root out terrorism, particularly that orchestrated through foreign support,” said the ISPR. “The sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.”

This latest operation underscores Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to securing its territory against external subversion and militant violence.
