QUETTA: The All Pakistan Chief Minister Balochistan Football Gold Cup (APCBFGC) is all set to start from today, July 15, with teams from across the country converging in Quetta to participate in this great tournament.
Balochistan’s Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs, Dura Baloch, confirmed the completion of all preparations during a high-level meeting held on Monday.
The opening match of the tournament will be played between Afghan Club Chaman and Baloch Club Nushki at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, indicating the beginning of a highly projected series of fixtures.
In addition, over 50 top-tier football teams from across Pakistan are taking part in the event, ensuring thrilling competition and a display of talent from every corner of the country.
Director General Sports Balochistan Yasir Bazai and other senior officials were present in the meeting, where final logistical and security arrangements were reviewed. Dura Baloch reasserted the department’s dedication to promoting healthy and constructive activities among youth through such large-scale sporting events.
She further added that the tournament indicates the provincial government’s broader vision of youth engagement, peacebuilding, and regional representation through sports.
The APCBFGC is expected to draw crucial public attention, with large crowds projected at the stadium to support their local and national teams.
