QUETTA: The Provincial Government of Balochistan has approved the upgradation of 150 Headmaster/Headmistress (BPS-17) posts in the School Education Department to Senior Headmaster/Headmistress (BPS-18), on Saturday.
According to reports, the Finance Department of Balochistan upgraded posts have also been included in the budget book, formalizing the move. This development marks a significant administrative step aimed at recognizing the contributions of senior teaching staff and enhancing management capacity in schools across the province.

The Headmaster/Headmistress of Balochistan has expressed satisfaction over the government step of upgrading the (BPS-17) posts to BPS-18 and termed it a good step of improving the education sector in the province by recognizing the rights of the teacher cadre in the province. They added that this step will surely encourage the teachers to perform their duties even more efficiently in the better interest of the students.
