Train service between Quetta and Peshawar resumes after one-day suspension

QUETTA: The Jaffar Express train service between Quetta and Peshawar has been restored after a one-day suspension over the security concerns.

According to details, the officials confirmed that the train departed from Quetta on Friday for Peshawar as per schedule. The return service from Peshawar to Quetta is also operating and is expected to arrive in Quetta by this evening.

The Jaffar Express, a vital rail link connecting Balochistan with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was temporarily halted due to security concerns. Railway authorities have not disclosed further details but assured that normal operations have resumed.
