India involved in terrorism, terrorists operating from Afghanistan: Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan;s foreign office has said that the militants of Indian-led terrorism are there in the hideouts of Afghanistan.

The Spokesperson to the foreign office has further said that terrorism remains as the main hurdle in the way of ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

In the weekly press briefing the foreign office has reaffirmed that Pakistan has welcomed the supplementary note of the arbitration court.

The court has given its judgment after the unjustified and illegal suspension of the Indus waters Treaty.

According to the spokesperson , the supplementary judgement has revealed that the Indus Waters Treaty is correct and active.

It also supports Pakistan’s stance. The spokesperson of the foreign office said in the briefing that Pakistan lays its emphasis on India to move on with the treaty in a normal way.

We stress o India to fulfill its responsibilities regarding the treaty.

The spokesperson has further said that the prisoners’ list have been exchanged with India under the councilor access agreement.

Pakistan has handed over a list of 246 prisoners to the Indian High Commission.  According to the spokesperson, India has handed over the prisoners’ list to Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi.

We stress India to take care of our prisoners. The spokesperson further said the prime minister Shahbaz Sharif led the Pakistan’s delegation in the ECO summit in Azerbaijan.
Apart from this. The deputy prime minister Ishaq Dar has established a contact with the Turkish foreign minister who will soon visit to Pakistan.

He said that Pakistan wants to enhance its ties with Afghanistan but the Indian-led terrorism remains the main hurdles. We have talked about this to the Afghan leadership.
