Met Office forecasts rain, thunder in Balochistan eastern districts

QUETTA: Most districts of Balochistan are experiencing hot and humid weather, the Meteorological Department said on Wednesday.

The Met Office predicted rainfall with thunder in Barkhan, Rakhni, Kohlu, Musakhel, Dera Bugti, and surrounding areas.

Rain with thunder is also likely in parts of Loralai, Sibi, Killa Abdullah, Ziarat, Bolan, Zhob, Kalat, Mastung, and Khuzdar.

Quetta recorded a maximum temperature of 40°C, while Kalat saw 34°C.

In Ziarat, the temperature peaked at 27°C, and in Zhob, it reached 34°C.

Sibi remained one of the hottest spots with 44°C, followed by Turbat at 41°C.

Nokkundi recorded the highest temperature at 47°C. Chaman followed with 42°C.

In the coastal belt, Gwadar registered 33°C and Jiwani 32°C.
