University of Balochistan approves key research projects

QUETTA: The University of Balochistan held the 187th meeting of its Advanced Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) at the Syndicate Hall of the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Bazai.

The board reviewed key academic and research matters related to MS, MPhil, and PhD programmes. It approved multiple research theses, synopses, and scholarly papers, emphasizing research quality, innovation, and alignment with national and regional development goals.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Bazai reaffirmed the university’s commitment to promoting high-quality research. He praised the efforts of scholars and their supervisors, stating that the University of Balochistan remains dedicated to academic excellence and will continue to prioritize scholarly standards in the future.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Ghulam Razzaq Shahwani, along with faculty deans, directors, Registrar Muhammad Tariq Jogezai, Controller of Examinations Dr. Muhammad Sharif Hasni, Director General Student Affairs Abdul Nasir Kiyazi, and GSO Chairman Qaiser Iqbal, were among the key attendees of the session.
