KARACHI: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced that it will remain closed to the public on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in observance of the annual bank holiday.
In a statement issued on Friday, the SBP said: “The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed for public dealings on 1st July, 2025 (Tuesday), which shall be observed as a bank holiday.”
As per the directive, all commercial banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and Microfinance Banks (MFBs) will also be closed to the public on the same date.

However, the central bank clarified that employees of these institutions will report to duty as usual and perform internal tasks without public interaction.
