QUETTA: An FIR has been registered against Sardar Akhtar Mengal and others for the murder of Mir Atta-ur-Rehman Mengal, son of former Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Naseer Mengal.
According to details, a case has been registered against Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Asad Mengal and Gurgin Mengal for the murder of tribal figure Mir Shafiqur-ur-Rehman Mengal’s brother Atta-ur-Rehman Mengal and his associates on the complaint of Muhammad Jan, a resident of Wadh.
The complainant has claimed that Mir Atta-ur-Rehman Mengal’s convoy was attacked by Asad Mengal and Gurgin and their associates. Sections 149-148-107-324-302 have been included in the case.

It is worth mentioning that around thirty unidentified armed men attacked the convoy of Mir Atta-ur-Rehman.
As a result of the terrorist assault, Mir Atta-ur-Rehman was martyred while his son was seriously injured.
