QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, announced that the provincial government is committed to change the lives of Baloch youth by providing access to world-class education, including opportunities at top global institutions like Oxford and Harvard.
He was speaking at a press briefing, CM Bugti focused on the government’s vision of replacing extremism with education.
“While terrorists are trying to turn our youth into suicide bombers, we are opening the doors of Harvard and Oxford for them,” he declared. “This is our answer to violence we believe in education, dialogue, and opportunity.”
Furthermore, he reassrted the government’s commitment to democratic principles, Bugti added, “The Pakistan Peoples Party has always believed in resolving conflicts through dialogue. If the solution to Balochistan’s issues lies in discussion, what could be more beautiful than that?”
He was addressing concerns over missing persons in Balochistan, the Chief Minister acknowledged the controversy surrounding the issue. “The question of who is missing and why remains disputed.
Some may have gone into hiding themselves, while others may have been forcefully disappeared.

He was mentioning Balochistan’s peaceful intent towards its neighbors, Bugti also commented on the province’s relationship with Iran. “Iran is our brotherly Islamic country. The people of Pakistan stand with Iran. Since our border areas connect with Iran, we have already planned for food and other logistical support in case of any emergency.”
