QUETTA: Renowned analyst Babar Yousafzai stated in a Burraq Digital podcast that there are no “missing persons” in Balochistan.
According to him, the individuals labeled as such are either involved in anti-state and terrorist activities or are undergoing militant training.
He referred to the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) as the “Indian Orphan Committee” and emphasized that in his 35 years of life, with seven generations of his family rooted in Balochistan, not a single member has ever gone missing—because none of them were ever involved in terrorism or rebellion.
He pointed out that terrorists involved in incidents like Bolan, Machh, or the Jaffer Express attacks were all listed among the so-called missing persons.
Now that the Balochistan government has passed a law allowing intelligence and security agencies to detain and interrogate suspects for up to 90 days, this false narrative is being dismantled at its core.
Yousafzai praised Pakistan’s intelligence services as among the world’s best.
He said India failed in direct warfare and now resorts to proxies, but these proxies are no match.
He emphasized that the state acts like a mother—it gives misguided individuals a chance to return.
However, if someone chooses to attack innocent civilians from the mountains—whether hiding in Turbat, Khuzdar, Musakhel, or Dera Bugti—they will be eliminated first by local tribes and then by security forces.
Referring to recent statements, Yousafzai warned the Israeli Prime Minister against threatening Pakistan.
“If you utter Pakistan’s name again with your filthy tongue, the world will forget what Hitler did to the Jews,” he said. Commending the people and peace forces of Dera Bugti for repelling terrorists, he urged all Baloch citizens and forces to adopt the same spirit and defeat these foreign-funded militants at every front.
He also slammed Indian officer Major Arjun Shukla for spreading indecent propaganda involving Pakistani women.
“In Baloch tribal tradition, women—mothers, sisters, daughters—are highly respected, and no one has the right to speak ill of them,” he stated.

Yousafzai concluded that the drama of missing persons was orchestrated by Indian and Israeli proxies, but the people of Balochistan now recognize the truth and are rejecting this narrative.
