KECH: Pakistan Army successfully neutralized Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) militants responsible for planting a deadly improvised explosive device (IED) in the Dashtok area of Zamuran, district Kech.
The IED, aimed at targeting a routine foot patrol of security forces, was defused before it could detonate, averting what could have been a devastating attack.
Unfortunately, earlier in the day, another patrol in the same vicinity suffered an ambush in which several personnel sustained injuries due to a separate IED explosion.
Furthermore, a massive search and clearance operation is now underway in the region, with security forces combing through surrounding areas to apprehend remaining terrorist elements.
However, the people of Balochistan, who have long suffered at the hands of violent separatists, have increasingly rejected such terror campaigns.
