Security forces foil BLA’s hostage plot on national highway in Noshki

NOSHKI: The operation was carried out following precise intelligence inputs regarding suspicious militant activity on a key transit route. The terrorists, part of the group known as “Fitna-al-Hindustan,” attempted to establish an illegal checkpoint with the apparent objective of taking innocent civilians hostage and using them for propaganda purposes.

In this sense, before the group could fully execute its plan, security personnel launched a targeted operation on the suspected site.

The militants, caught off-guard and overwhelmed by the rapid response, abandoned their positions and fled towards the mountainous regions surrounding Noshki.

Furthermore, the Balochistan Liberation Army, designated as a terrorist organization by Pakistan and several international entities, has been involved in numerous attacks targeting security forces, public infrastructure, and innocent civilians across the province.

So far, efforts are currently underway to track and apprehend the fleeing militants. Security forces have intensified surveillance and search operations in the adjoining mountainous terrain, while additional checkpoints have been established along the highway to ensure the safety of travelers.
