Intense heatwave to grip Balochistan until June 12

QUETTA : Hot and dry weather is expected to persist in Balochistan over the coming days.

According to a report issued by the Meteorological Department, northern districts of Balochistan will experience dry conditions, while southern and western areas are likely to face extreme heat.

The report indicates that the heatwave across the province will continue until June 12, with temperatures expected to rise by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius.

In Turbat, the temperature has soared to 49°C, while Sibi recorded 47°C. Intense heat has also been observed in other cities, including Dadu, Nawabshah, Multan, Sargodha, Lahore, and Peshawar.
