ISLAMABAD: Managing Director of Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), Abdullah Khan ha said that the horrific attack on school-going children in Khuzdar on May 21, 2025, was not just an act of terrorism, but a brutal assault on Pakistan’s future.
He said that the undeniable evidence has confirmed that the attack was carried out by India-backed terrorist organization Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) militants, adding that it was a calculated strike on innocent schoolchildren.
Expressing his feeling about the deadly attack, Abdullah said this was not just terrorism; it was a barbaric act targeting children under India’s patronage, adding that young girls, on their way to seek knowledge, embraced martyrdom. This was not just an attack; it was an attack on Pakistan’s future.
Senior analyst added that the targeted vehicle reportedly belonged to a local school, drawing parallels to the tragic APS Peshawar attack in 2014. “Targeting a school bus, just like in the APS tragedy, is a clear indicator of the enemy’s intent—to paralyze our future by attacking our children,” he added.
