ISLAMABAD: The Armed Forces, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Services Chiefs congratulated the nation on the occasion of the 27th Youm-e-Takbeer of the beloved homeland, and termed the nuclear capability achieved on May 28, 1998, as a manifestation of Pakistan’s security, sovereignty and defense.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Youm-e-Takbeer is not only a reminder of a historical milestone but also a symbol of the determination and courage that transformed Pakistan into an invincible defense force.
On this day, strategic balance was restored in South Asia and Pakistan practically proved its defense doctrine of credible minimum deterrence.
The ISPR said that Pakistan’s nuclear capability is a national trust that is only for defense purposes and guarantees peace. On this occasion, tributes were paid to all the scientists, engineers, officers and personnel who made this feat possible.

The armed forces reiterated that they are fully prepared and determined to face any threat and Youm-e-Takbeer reminds us of the responsibility that it is our national duty to remain united, vigilant and steadfast for the security, progress and prosperity of the motherland.
