BLF’s claim of attack in Karachi exposed as fabrication, Abdullah Khan

ISLAMABAD: The Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) had publicly taken responsibility for an alleged assault on a police station located within a prominent housing society in Karachi. However, upon verification, Khan found no evidence supporting the claim, Abdullah Khan.

The banned outfit, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), an affiliate of the proscribed Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), has come under scrutiny after it was revealed that no such attack occurred in Karachi’s housing society as alleged two months ago.

The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), under whose umbrella the BLF operates, is a proscribed terrorist organization designated by the government, as well as by several international bodies, including the United Nations and the United Kingdom.

The group has been responsible for a series of deadly attacks, targeting security personnel, civilians, and infrastructure across Balochistan and other parts of the country.

In this regard, over the past decade, the BLA has been linked to numerous high-profile terrorist incidents, including suicide bombings, targeted killings, and attacks on economic infrastructure such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.
