Undeniable new evidence confirms Indian-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: India’s role in state-sponsored terrorism is no longer a hidden truth. Pakistan, along with other states, has repeatedly submitted concrete evidence before the world pointing to India’s involvement in state-sponsored terrorism.
For over two decades, India has run a secret terrorism campaign in Balochistan. Pakistan has presented solid evidence of this over the years.

In 2009, Pakistan officially raised the issue during talks in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. It expressed concern over Indian intelligence operations inside Pakistan.

WikiLeaks confirmed these concerns in 2010. US diplomatic cables revealed that international observers were aware of Indian involvement in insurgency-related operations in Balochistan.

In 2015, Pakistan submitted a detailed dossier to the United Nations. It outlined India’s role in fueling terrorism in Balochistan. The dossier included intelligence-based evidence.

In 2016, Pakistan arrested Kulbhushan Jadhav, a serving Indian Navy officer and RAW agent. He confessed to planning and executing subversive acts in Balochistan.

In 2019, Pakistan submitted another dossier to the United Nations. It added fresh evidence of India’s involvement in terrorism.

In 2023, Sarfaraz Banglazai and Gulzar Imam Shambey were admitted to carrying out terrorist attacks in Balochistan. They confirmed Indian operatives had trained and directed them.

The DG ISPR has also shared proof of Indian Army officers’ role in terrorist activities inside Pakistan.

Defense experts warn that India’s actions and refusal to admit its involvement are escalating tensions. They say this could push the region toward conflict.
