Security forces eliminate 9 terrorists in KPK

RAWALPINDI: According to ISPR, security forces carried out intelligence-based operations in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the elimination of 9 terrorists.

In Dera Ismail Khan, four militants were killed during an operation, while in the Bagh area of Khyber district, three Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized.

In Tank, two more Indian-backed terrorists were gunned down following an exchange of fire.

The eliminated militants were involved in various acts of terrorism. Security forces also recovered arms and ammunition during the operations.

President Asif Ali Zardari praised the forces for their successful action, stating that operations will continue until the menace of terrorism is completely eradicated.

He welcomed the elimination of Indian-sponsored terrorists, calling it a positive development.
