QEUTTA: A condolence ceremony was held in Khuzdar to honor the victims of the recent terrorist attack.
Students from schools across the city participated, holding placards and banners bearing messages for the martyred children.
The event was attended by provincial ministers Noor Muhammad Dummar, Minister for Culture Meena Majeed Baloch, Quetta Commissioner Hamza Shafqat, DC Mehrullah Badini, and other key political and administrative figures.
During the ceremony, a police contingent presented a salute to the martyrs.
Speakers expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and described the incident as a dark chapter in Balochistan’s history.
They condemned the attack, emphasizing that no civilized society could justify such brutality against children.
Participants reiterated their strong support for security forces and vowed to stand united against terrorism. The death toll of the Khuzdar school attack has now reached eight.
Sibi set a new record of temperature in the history of Pakistan.
The temparute rises to 53 degrees cetigrade. It was previously 52 degrees in 2023.
