ISLAMABAD: Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, stated that Mahrang Baloch and her organisation, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), are acting as proxies of terrorism.
“Indian-sponsored terrorist organisations and their proxies must be dealt with in the same decisive manner as any sovereign nation would respond to such threats. There is no ambiguity — our stance is absolutely clear,” said Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry while addressing a press conference along the federal secretary of the interior.
Druing the press conference, DG ISPR presents more irrefutable evidence of India’s state-sponsored terrorism inside Balochistan. He said that India is financing terrorism in Balochistan and fitna al-Hindustan was behind the deadly attack on a school bus in Khuzdar.
He said that the arrested terrorists accepted that they received funds from India to attack children, women, labourers, and security forces in Balochistan.
The military spokesperson said that Indian state-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan has been ongoing since the inception of the country.
He said that during the Pak-India clashes, India had also activated its fitna al Hindustan to carry out attacks in Balochistan. On the night of May 9 and 10 alone, a total of 33 terrorist attacks were attempted in Balochistan, all of which were thwarted by security forces.
Pattern of targeting innocents
Listing a series of recent attacks, the DG ISPR presented a detailed disturbing trend of violence against civilians:
- February 14, 2025: 10 civilians martyred in Harnai.
- March 11: Innocent passengers targeted on the Jafar Express.
- March 26: Labourers killed in Gwadar.
- April 12: Labourers martyred in Panjgur.
- May 9: 3 labourers killed in Lasbela.
- Nushki: 4 more labourers martyred.
- Barkhan: 7 passengers crushed to death after being thrown from a bus.
“These beasts commit barbarity with Indian funding,” said DG ISPR, referring to what he called a “coordinated terror campaign sponsored by Fitna-ul-Hindustan.”
General Chaudhry accused India of funding terrorist elements and confirmed that the group “Fitna-e-Hindustan” had claimed responsibility for the recent school bus attack in Khuzdar.
He stated that arrested militants had confessed to receiving support from India, citing the example of Kulbhushan Jadhav — the Indian spy currently in Pakistani custody — as further proof of foreign involvement.
He also expressed concern for the children injured in the attack, many of whom remain hospitalized, and reminded the media of past instances in 2009 and 2016 when concrete evidence of Indian-sponsored terrorism was shared with the international community.
He said that Fitna Al Hindustan, which has nothing to do with Balochistan, shall be eliminated at all costs.
Earlier, Secretary Interior Captain (retd) Muhammad Khurram Agha said that the attack on the school bus in Khuzdar is a manifestation of India’s proxy war. Frustrated by its defeat in conventional warfare, India is now targeting children and women in acts of desperation.
Six children lost their lives in the school van attack by Militants in Khuzdar.
This is a developing story……
