270th Corps Commanders' Conference: Tribute paid to martyrs

RAWALPINDI: The 270th Corps Commanders’ Conference, presided over by Field Marshal Asim Munir, reviewed the national security situation and assessed both internal and external challenges.

According to ISPR,the forum paid glowing tribute to the martyrs of the “Maarka-e-Haq” and held Quran Khwani for the Khuzdar school bus attack victims.

Four innocent children and two civilians were martyred in the brutal incident. The forum resolved that the blood of the martyrs would not go in vain.

Targeting innocent children was termed a gross violation of international laws and basic human rights. Ensuring the safety of the people will remain the top priority of the armed forces, the forum reiterated.

Participants congratulated Asim Munir on his elevation to Field Marshal and expressed full confidence in his strategic vision and unwavering leadership.

The forum condemned the barbaric Khuzdar incident as an act carried out through Indian proxies.

The commanders appreciated the role of Pakistani media and information warriors in promoting factual reporting and countering misinformation.
