ISLAMABAD: India has come to light, aimed at creating unrest in Balochistan. According to a joint investigative report released by two internationally recognized data analysis organizations, the Global Cyber Forensic Lab (GCFL) and the European Centre for Disinformation Tracking (ECDT), a coordinated digital offensive has been launched through thousands of fake online accounts.
In addition, the report reveals that in just one month, over 21,000 social media accounts were created with profile locations set to Balochistan. However, technical metadata and login activity tell a different story.
These findings point to an organized effort to manipulate narratives and destabilize peace in the Balochistan region by exploiting the digital ecosystem.

Moreover, cybersecurity analysts warn that this kind of digital manipulation falls within the broader pattern of hybrid warfare, where fake identities, manipulated content, and social media networks are used as tools of proxy conflict.
The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), designated as a terrorist organization by Pakistan and several other countries, has also been linked to digital propaganda campaigns in the past.
