QUETTA: Zeeshan Zaheer, a former active member of the Balochistan Yakjehti Committee (BYC) and BLA was identified in playing his role in spreading anti-state propaganda through social media platforms and trying to promote the hate among the Baloch and other nations of the country.

According to reports, Zeeshan Zaheer was consistently sharing provocative content targeting Pakistan’s state institutions. Zeeshan Zaheer’s online activities reportedly included inciting public sentiments against the state and encouraging dissent, especially among the youth.

Apart from his role in spreading false news and promoting hate against the state institutions among the innocent people of Balochistan, Zeeshan Zaheer was also known for actively participating in rallies, protests, and online campaigns that allegedly aimed to undermine the country’s reputation and promote a narrative aligned with hostile foreign interests. His tone and messaging were often seen as reflective of a particular agenda that sought to provoke unrest and lure young individuals toward armed resistance.
