QUETTA: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Sports and Youth Affairs, Meena Baloch, highlighted the government’s youth-friendly initiatives while giving a detailed briefing on the Balochistan Youth Policy and the province’s socio-economic development programs for young people.
She emphasized that youth are the most valuable asset of any nation, and their education, training, and overall development must be a state priority.
She stated that the primary goal of the Balochistan Youth Policy is to involve young people in decision-making processes, provide them with educational, vocational, and technical training opportunities, and channel their energy positively through sports.
Meena Majeed stressed that the government aims to develop youth not just as job seekers but as job creators, expanding the scope of skills programs, internship schemes, and sports activities.
Under the “Socio-Economic Development Program for Youth,” she explained that career counseling, skill development workshops, and health and wellness initiatives are being introduced in educational institutions across the province.
She also announced that youth centers will be established at the district level to offer modern facilities and training opportunities.

Meena Majeed encouraged the youth to step forward, embrace education and skills, and play their part in shaping a brighter future for Balochistan. She reaffirmed the government’s commitment to standing with the youth and providing every possible support for their growth and empowerment.
