KALAT: A young man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Tuesday near Makka Hotel in the Kohang area of Kalat.
According to police sources, the victim was critically injured in the firing incident and succumbed to his injuries at the crime scene. Police reached the spot after the incident and shifted the body to the nearby hospital for further procedures.
The deceased has been identified as Saeed Ahmed, son of Abdul Ghani, belonging to the Simalani tribe and a resident of Mulki.
Police sources stated that the motive behind the killing is not yet known, and investigations are underway.
