ISLAMABAD: The X account of a pro–Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) activist has been permanently suspended for spreading propaganda against Pakistan’s army and state institutions.
The action follows a wave of coordinated attacks this weekend by internationally designated terrorist groups across eight districts of Balochistan.
The suspended account, operating under the name Pirdan Baluch, repeatedly shared false information and promoted misleading narratives related to missing persons, according to officials. The account also posted content targeting the Pakistan Army and other state institutions.
Several users in Pakistan had reported the account for disseminating hate speech and disinformation, prompting the enforcement action by X.
