Hyderabad: Kidnapped Wedding Hall Owner Released After Paying Rs20 Lakh Ransom; Police Personnel Involved
In Hyderabad, the owner of a wedding hall who was abducted has been released after his family paid a ransom of Rs20 lakh.
According to police, the wedding hall owner was kidnapped from the Hali Road area of Hyderabad.
He was later freed following payment of the Rs20 lakh ransom.
Police stated that the abduction was carried out by five individuals, including three police personnel dressed in plain clothes.
The authorities further revealed that the three involved police officers have been arrested and suspended, while the ransom amount has also been recovered.
