ISLAMABAD: Meteorological Department Forecasts More Rain for the Next Two Days
Lahore and various parts of Punjab continue to experience rainfall accompanied by thunder for the second consecutive day. Strong winds have caused a further drop in temperatures compared to yesterday.
In Lahore, continuous rainfall since last night, accompanied by strong winds (recorded at 14 km/h), has made the weather pleasant and significantly increased the feeling of coolness.
Intermittent heavy rainfall with thunder and strong winds continued throughout the night in several districts of Punjab. In Gujrat, on-and-off heavy rain has caused widespread waterlogging, with low-lying areas flooded.
In Sargodha, heavy rain accompanied by thunder, strong winds, and hail was reported. Rainfall also occurred in Daska, Wazirabad, Mianwali, Phalia, Khanqah Dogran, Narowal, and Ferozwala, leading to a noticeable drop in temperatures across these areas.
Meanwhile, light snowfall was reported in the upper and tourist areas of Mansehra, including Shogran and Naran. Rainfall in the plains has further intensified the cold.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted continued rainfall over the next two days in various parts of the country.
