A video of Aina Wazir, a resident of Shewah tehsil in North Waziristan, showcasing her bowling action during a local cricket match has gone viral on social media. Users have flooded the post with messages of “Mashallah” and best wishes for her bright future.
The video caught the attention of Javed Afridi, the owner of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi. Impressed by her bowling prowess, Afridi took to social media to announce that Aina will be included in the upcoming Zalmi Women’s League.

“I am happy to share this good news that Aina Wazir will be a part of our upcoming Zalmi Women’s League. This is the platform that we have created for our girls so that they can play,” Afridi stated
He further assured that the franchise will provide Aina with all necessary cricket equipment and appropriate facilities to nurture her talent.
