QUETTA: The Commander of the Pakistan Navy in Karachi, Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi, met with Balochistan’s Chief Minister CM, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the Navy Commander invited Chief Minister Bugti to attend the upcoming Pakistan International Maritime Expo and Conference (PIMEC).
Vice Admiral Abbasi praised the Balochistan government for its successful participation in the first PIMEC event last year. He noted that the province had signed investment agreements worth $400 million during that expo.
In response, Chief Minister Bugti assured the Navy Commander of his government’s full support. He promised that the Balochistan government would take all possible steps to promote investment opportunities in the maritime sector and would actively participate in all national development forums.
At the end of the meeting, both officials exchanged gifts as a gesture of goodwill.
