ISLAMABAD: The United States said on Friday it stands with Pakistan after recent militant attacks in Balochistan.
The US State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs expressed solidarity with Pakistan in a post on X. It said the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) is a designated foreign terrorist organization.
The bureau added that Washington supports efforts to bring those responsible for the attacks to justice.
The statement came as Pakistan’s security forces concluded Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 against militant networks in Balochistan.
We stand steadfast with Pakistan in the wake of recent militant attacks in Balochistan. The Balochistan Liberation Army remains a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization, and we support efforts to hold the perpetrators of these horrific attacks accountable.
