ISLAMABAD: US State Department spokesperson Timmy Bruce has said that US closely watching the recent tensions between Pakistan and India after the Pahalgam attack.
Timmy Bruce said in a briefing that both the countries need to avoid any further escalation and focus on promoting peace in the region.
The US has expressed concern over the recent tensions between Pakistan and India and urged both countries to exercise restraint and prioritize peace and stability in the region.

She said that Marco Rubio will soon contact the foreign ministers of Pakistan and India directly. He said that Marco Rubio will also contact the leaders of other countries on the issue. The US State Department spokesperson further said that the US is fully aware of the incident in Kashmir, and the Trump administration is in touch with Pakistan-India tensions.
