US condemns Quetta suicide attack, vows support against terrorism

ISLAMABAD: The United States strongly condemned the September suicide attack in Quetta that killed 15 people and wounded 35 others.

In a statement issued on its official X account, the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad said: “We offer our sincere condolences to the loved ones of those who were killed and injured. The Pakistani people deserve to live free from violence and fear.”

The statement added that the United States stands shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan against reprehensible terrorist groups such as ISIS-Pakistan Province, which has claimed responsibility for the attack, and in the global fight against terrorism.
