QUETTA: Academic Staff Association of the University of Balochistan (UoB) and FAPWASA Balochistan Chapter President Prof. Dr. Kaleemullah Barich, said that the teachers and officers of the University of Balochistan were once again deprived of salaries and pensions on Eid al-Adha.
According to details, the statement clarified that the provincial government and HEC benefited from the salaries and pensions of the month of May before Eid with all their privileges, but unfortunately, the CM of Balochistan, the Minister of Education and Finance, HEC and the bureaucracy of the provincial government are enjoying themselves by depriving the teachers and officers of the University of Balochistan from the joys of Eid.
While expressing his surprise, he said that it is not known why the provincial government and HEC are trying to stop the basic rights of teachers and employees of the University of Balochistan.
He appealed to the Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor of the University of Balochistan to ensure funds for the salaries and pensions of the teachers and officers from the provincial government before Eid.

The statement expressed its determination that if the provincial government does not issue a notification to end the approved allowances of universities and does not find a permanent solution for the payment of salaries and pensions, the Academic Staff Associations of Balochistan Universities, FAPWASA and Grand Alliance will boycott classes and launch a strike by leaving the pen.
