SIBI: The unknown gunmen attacked the residence of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Muhammad Ashraf Jamali with a hand grenade on Thursday.
According to details, the DSP’s residence is located within the premises of the City Police Station in Sibi.
Police sources confirmed that the grenade exploded with a loud blast, creating panic in the area. Fortunately, no casualties or serious injuries were reported.
The security forces cordoned off the area and began a search operation to arrest the attackers. Investigations are currently underway to identify the perpetrators behind the incident.

Security has been tightened across Sibi following the incident, and officials have vowed to bring those responsible to justice.
