QILA ABDULLAH: Four people, including well-known local personality Dad Muhammad Kakar, were killed and two others seriously injured in a shooting incident at Mezai Adda, while separate tribal clashes erupted in Dolangi near Gulistan, officials and sources said.
According to reports, Dad Muhammad Kakar was arrested at a hotel in Nadra Market, Mezai Adda. He and his colleagues were busy in a meeting when unknown armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire.
The attack killed Dad Muhammad Kakar, Syed Jafar Agha, and Matiullah on the spot. Two others sustained serious injuries.
As soon as the incident was reported, local tribesmen reached the spot. The bodies and injured were shifted to the trauma center in Mezai Adda. After the firing, the accused managed to escape from the scene.
On the other hand, according to sources, tension and firing are ongoing between two local tribes at Dolangi near Gulistan. Reports indicate that one party occupied a house belonging to the opposing party and set it on fire.
After the incident, the area situation is being described as tense. Sources say the administration has started collecting information related to both incidents, but more details are yet to be revealed.
