ISLAMABAD: According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, several Afghan nationals who entered the United States during former President Joe Biden’s administration have been found involved in serious crimes.
The Department also released photos and details of these Afghan individuals implicated in criminal activities.
Authorities stated that these Afghan nationals were involved in grave offenses such as firing at law enforcement officers, committing sexual assaults, and engaging in terrorist activities.
The Homeland Security statement highlighted that Afghan nationals Jamal Wali and Mohammad Khurwin were initially released and permitted to stay in the U.S., but later became involved in violent crimes again.
Furthermore, Afghan nationals including Abdullah Haji Zada, Nasir Ahmad Towhidi, Javed Ahmadi, Bahrullah Nori, and Zabihullah Mehmand were arrested for attacking minors, planning sexual offenses, and committing other serious crimes.
The Department of Homeland Security emphasized that individuals who pose a threat to public safety will be removed from the United States.
In recent years, several Afghan nationals who migrated to the United States and European countries have been linked to serious law and order challenges.
Reports indicate that some of these individuals have been involved in violent crimes, including assaults on law enforcement officers, sexual offenses, and activities connected to terrorism.
Such incidents have raised concerns about public safety and the effectiveness of migrant screening processes.
Authorities in both the U.S. and Europe have responded by closely monitoring individuals considered a threat, making arrests when necessary, and emphasizing the need for stricter measures to prevent criminal activities.
The situation highlights the broader challenge of balancing humanitarian migration with security concerns, ensuring that vulnerable populations are protected while maintaining law and order.
The Western countires are not calling the Afghan nationals as global threats but they also demand a peaceful and early repatriation of all the Afghan refugees living in Europe, America and other parts of the world.
