ISLAMABAD: The United States has expressed solidarity with Pakistan following the suicide bombing at the District Court in Islamabad.
According to a post on the official X account of the U.S. Embassy, the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Pakistan, Natalie Baker, conveyed her country’s support for Pakistan in the wake of the tragic attack.
She stated that the United States stands in solidarity with Pakistan in the fight against terrorism and offered heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in today’s attack.
Natalie Baker also expressed prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.
She strongly condemned the attack and all forms of terrorism, reaffirming the United States’ commitment to supporting the Pakistani government’s efforts to maintain peace and stability.
It is worth noting that earlier today, a suicide blast targeting a police vehicle outside the District Court in Islamabad’s G-11 area resulted in the deaths of 12 people and injuries to 27 others.

The attack was launched at 12:45 PST. A militant riding on the motorcycle attempted a forced entry.

According to the details, the suicide attacker had entered Islamabad on Friday.
The head and other body parts of the militant have been recovered.
