QUETTA: Security sources have revealed undeniable evidence of terrorist elements hiding behind the narrative of so-called missing persons, exposing the close coordination between “Fitna-al-Hindustan” and the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC).
According to officials, Sohaib Langove, a terrorist killed during a targeted operation in Kalat on July 21, 2025, appeared on the BYC’s list of alleged missing persons. Security sources confirmed that Sohaib Langove was an active militant of the India-linked terror network “Fitna-e-Hindustan.” The group has publicly acknowledged Langove as one of its own after his death, referring to him by his alias, Amir Bakhsh.
However, when he joined the terrorist group Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in July 2024, its political wing, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, started blaming the security forces for his enforced disappearance. The media wing of the BLA, Baam, also accused the security forces of disappearing him. However, when he was killed in the operation last week, the same media wing called him a martyr who died fighting the forces.
Security sources also reported that this is not the first such case. In March 2024, another terrorist, Karim Jan—who was killed in the Gwadar attack—was also listed among the so-called missing persons. Likewise, Abdul Wadood, who died in the attack on the Naval Base, was also falsely portrayed as a missing individual.
Media platforms linked to Fitna-e-Hindustan, such as Pankh and Baam, falsely claimed on July 25, 2024, that Suhaib Langove had been forcibly disappeared a day earlier from Quetta’s Killi Saryab area. Security officials countered that Langove was already an armed militant actively involved in terror operations.
Security agencies also pointed to multiple images and videos circulating on social media that show Langove participating in protests alongside Mehrang Langove, a prominent figure within the Baloch Yakjehti Committee. They accused Mehrang of exploiting the missing persons narrative to promote an anti-state agenda while shielding known terrorists.
According to security officials, Mehrang Langove and her collaborators have never condemned terrorist attacks by Fitna-e-Hindustan, nor have they spoken out against the killing of innocent Pakistani civilians. These double standards, they said, further expose the real motives behind such campaigns.
“The so-called missing persons are, in fact, militants who act as proxies for Fitna-e-Hindustan and carry out attacks on innocent civilians,” stated one official.
Security agencies described the Baloch Yakjehti Committee as a front for Fitna-e-Hindustan’s terror network. They asserted that many individuals participating in BYC protests with covered faces are not innocent activists, but facilitators and handlers of terrorists.

Officials emphasized that strong evidence proves the so-called missing persons lists are being used as a cover to protect active terrorists. “The truth is clear — those presented as victims are often deeply involved in violent activities against the state,” security sources concluded.
