RAWALPINDI: The United Arab Emirates Naval forces Commander Major General Humaid Mohammed Abdulla Alremeithi met General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), during an official visit to Pakistan on Monday.
According to the Pakistan Army media affairs wing, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two commanders held detailed talks on professional matters and reviewed the evolving global and regional geo-strategic environment. They stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral defence and security cooperation, particularly in the maritime domain, to promote regional peace and stability.
Major General Alremeithi praised the professional standards of the Pakistan Armed Forces, acknowledging their achievements and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism as well as their role in advancing regional peace.

On his arrival at Joint Staff Headquarters, a tri-services contingent presented Guard of Honour to the visiting UAE naval chief.
