Two Turbat PhD scholars selected for IRSIP international research program

QUETTA: Two PhD scholars of University of Turbat have been selected for six months on scholarship under the International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) of the Higher Education Commission to conduct research in international universities.

According to details, Wajid Ali, a lecturer and PhD scholar of the Department of Natural and Basic Sciences of the University of Turbat, and Mir Chakar Rahim, a PhD scholar studying at Turbat University were the selected candidates for the scholarship.

Wajid Ali will conduct his research at the University of Minnesota, USA under the supervision of Dr. Vincent Navarro (foreign supervisor), while his domestic supervisor will be Dr. Hanif-ur-Rehman, Associate Professor, University of Turbat.

Similarly, Mir Chakar Rahim will continue his research at Imperial College London, UK under the supervision of Dr. Rodrigo Ledesma Amaro (foreign supervisor), while Dr. Hanif-ur-Rehman from University of Turbat will be his domestic supervisor.
