Two Injured in Firing Incident on Sariab Road, Quetta

QUETTA: Two individuals were injured in a firing incident on Sariab Road, according to a private TV channel report.

Armed assailants opened fire in the provincial capital of Balochistan, wounding two people. Security forces promptly arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. The injured were immediately transported to the hospital for medical treatment.

This incident follows a string of recent attacks in Quetta. Just a day earlier, a hand grenade attack injured an SHO and four others.

Three days ago, two sons of a mine owner were killed in another grenade attack. Last month, a barber from Rahim Yar Khan lost his life in a shooting at a shop on Sariab Road.

The ongoing violence in Balochistan has been fueled by banned separatist groups BLA and BLF, who continue to target civilians, security personnel, and government infrastructure. Despite the persistent threat, government and security agencies remain committed to restoring peace and stability in the region.
