TURBAT: The grenade attack carried out by terrorists linked to Fitna-e-Hindustan targeted innocent civilians in the Sanganisar, leaving eight people seriously injured. The assailants threw a hand grenade in a crowded locality, deliberately targeting unarmed citizens. In this regard, the victims of this attack have been identified as Zafar, Murtaza, Shahzaib, Jahanzeb, Ashraf, Muhammad Hissam, Ihsan, and Nadel.
All sustained multiple injuries and were immediately shifted to the Frontier Corps Hospital and the District Headquarters Hospital in Turbat, where they are receiving medical treatment. In this sense, the incident has once again mentioned the persistent threat posed by anti-state elements operating under foreign influence.
Meanwhile, citizens and civil society have raised serious concerns over the silence of certain political and activist groups, questioning why there has been no condemnation from voices that otherwise claim to advocate for human rights in the province.
