WASHINGTON: The United States President Donald Trump has said that the ongoing conflict involving Iran could end “soon,” but warned that several “important targets” remain under consideration if further military action becomes necessary.
Trump indicated that the situation was being closely monitored and that strategic objectives had already been significantly addressed.
However, he stressed that the possibility of additional strikes had not been ruled out.
He noted that while progress had been made, some targets of importance still remain, which could be addressed if circumstances require further intervention.
“The conflict may conclude sooner than many expect,” Trump said. “But if needed, there are still important targets available.” His remarks suggested that decision-makers remain prepared for further action depending on developments on the ground.
Tensions between the United States and Iran have fluctuated for years, with disputes ranging from nuclear ambitions to regional security concerns in the Middle East. Analysts say statements like Trump’s highlight the continued uncertainty surrounding the situation and the potential for further escalation if diplomatic solutions fail.
