Tribals vow to fight alongside Pak Army against Khawarij on Afghan border

Pakistan Army kills 31 Indian-backed Khawarij in KP operations

PESHAWAR: In a powerful audio message, tribal leaders from northwestern Pakistan have pledged to take up arms and stand with the Pakistani military against terrorists crossing from Afghanistan.

The message, delivered in Pashto, declared it a sacred duty to defend the nation. The tribes stated they are fully prepared to confront the enemy and are even willing to pursue them onto their own territory.

“We have fought these militants before, and we will do so again,” the community asserted, highlighting their determination to face the threat from Afghan-based terrorists entering Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This pledge comes during a period of increased border clashes. Recent weeks have seen Pakistani security forces successfully foil several terrorist attacks.

The decision of the tribal communities to actively join the fight is seen as a major development in the region’s ongoing battle against terrorism.

Meanwhile, Pakistani officials are closely monitoring the situation, and army troops remain on high alert to protect the country’s borders.

The security forces have delivered a strong and measured response following what officials described as an unprovoked attack by Afghan troops along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

The security representative confirmed that the forces from Pakistan effectively retaliated, ensuring the protection of national sovereignty and preventing further escalation.

The statement focused that Pakistan reserves the right to defend its borders and citizens against any act of aggression.

Pakistan has raised concerns with the interim Afghan government over the presence and activities of the TTP and other militant organizations operating from Afghan soil.

Despite assurances from Kabul, incidents of cross-border firing and infiltration attempts have continued in recent months, straining diplomatic ties between the two neighboring countries.

However, the government warned that continued aggression or tolerance of terrorist groups within Afghan territory would have serious consequences for regional stability.
