QUETTA: A traffic police officer was seriously injured in a knife attack by a rickshaw driver at Nawan Killi’s area of provincial capital of Balochistan Quetta on Saturday.
According to reports, the incident occurred during a routine traffic stop when an altercation escalated, leading the rickshaw driver to stab the officer with a knife. The attacker fled the scene immediately after the assault.
The injured officer was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation and initiated a search operation to apprehend the suspect.
